Application:
The fine particle sampler is a compact and powerful PM 2.5
monitoring tool in ambient air and is designed for users who frequently move
the device from one place to another.
Working Principle:
The effects of PM10
and PM2.5.5 used in microscopic samples are based on standard USEPA designs, so
the system complies with international standards for PM2.5 transit. Ambient air
enters the fine particle sampler through a multi-directional inlet designed to
provide a clear aerodynamic cutting point for particles greater than 10
microns. The wind stream is undergoing a victory effect that keeps the fracture
between PM10 and PM2.5. The sampling rate is kept constant at 1 m 3 / hour for
the critical aperture. A special, lightweight, oil-free pump is used in the
device and sufficient cooling air is provided to ensure that the operating
temperature near the filter holder remains close to room temperature. The
sample rate is continuously displayed on a basic rotary scale, while the sample
duration is provided by the time collector.

• Time Totalizer : Records the actual time duration of each
sample.
• Provision to attach Gaseous Sampler
: The APM 550MINI has an in-built valve and piping for use of agaseous sampling
attachment for monitoring SO2, NOx, NH3, Ozone etc.
• Compact & Light ; Single unit compact cabinet made of Aluminum
is light and robust.
